Alternatively, skiers may opt for a journey starting at Khani Basa of Biafo Glacier, crossing Hispar Pass (5050 M) into Snow Lake, and reaching Askoli. Another captivating option commences at Panmah Glacier, where skiers ski around Nobande Sobande Glacier, enter Simgang Glacier via Sim La (5850 M), proceed towards Snow Lake, and finally return to Askoli. These routes offer skiers the opportunity to climb peaks up to 6500 meters in altitude without incurring additional permit fees. The recommended season to embark on a ski trip is the last week of April or the first week of May.
