2. Booking & Reservation Policy
2.1 Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
- Confirmation will be sent via email.
2.2 Deposit Requirement
- A non-refundable deposit (usually 30%–50% of total tour cost) is required to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid before tour commencement (typically 15–30 days prior to arrival).
2.3 Last-Minute Bookings
Full payment is required for bookings made within 15 days of tour departure.
3. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Prices may change due to:
- Government taxes
- Permit fee adjustments
- Fuel price fluctuations
- Currency exchange variations
- Payment methods accepted:
- Bank transfer
- Online payment gateway (if applicable)
- Other agreed international payment methods
Any transaction charges are the responsibility of the client.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Client Cancellation
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- More than 30 days before departure: Loss of deposit
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost
4.2 No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the agreed departure point will result in no refund.
4.3 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 15–30 working days.
5. Changes & Itinerary Modifications
Indus Trail Voyages reserves the right to modify itineraries due to:
- Weather conditions
- Political situations
- Road closures
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events
We prioritize traveler safety at all times. No refunds will be issued for minor itinerary adjustments made in the interest of safety.
6. Travel Documents & Visa
Clients are responsible for:
- Obtaining valid passports
- Securing Pakistan visas
- Complying with immigration requirements
- Obtaining necessary travel permits
Indus Trail Voyages is not responsible for denied entry due to documentation issues.
7. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
All clients must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies
- Evacuation & repatriation
- Trip cancellation
- Personal injury
- High-altitude trekking (if applicable)
Proof of insurance may be required before tour commencement.
8. Health & Fitness
Adventure tours and treks in Pakistan’s northern regions require physical fitness. Clients must:
- Declare any medical conditions
- Follow guide instructions at all times
- Accept risks associated with trekking and adventure travel
Indus Trail Voyages is not liable for health complications arising during the tour.
9. Assumption of Risk
Adventure travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- High altitude sickness
- Extreme weather
- Terrain hazards
- Transportation delays
- Political or security changes
By booking, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.
10. Liability Limitation
Indus Trail Voyages acts as an organizer and coordinator of services. We shall not be liable for:
- Injury, illness, or death
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Flight delays or cancellations
- Acts of God, natural disasters, or government actions
- Third-party service provider negligence
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the tour.
11. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to:
- Respect local laws, customs, and traditions
- Respect environmental sustainability practices
- Follow guide instructions
- Avoid illegal activities
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior jeopardizes safety or group harmony, without refund.
12. Photography & Media
Indus Trail Voyages may use photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, images, branding, and logos are the property of Indus Trail Voyages and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control including:
- Natural disasters
- War
- Civil unrest
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Border closures
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved under Pakistani jurisdiction.
